The oldest beer of the brewery (produced since 1785), Saison de Pipaix was used to quench the thirst of farm workers during the summer. It is incredibly diverse with spices, containing ginger, pepper, lichen, sweet orange peels, curacao, and badiam. This ancient gem has hints of sourness with a sharp final note.
Not as pungent as the Saison de Pipaix, this beer is more for the social setting. Rather neutral in its taste, since it is less spicy and more sweet, it has a great depth of character with rich aromas. Even though it goes down more easily than Saison de Pipaix, it is best to drink it with moderation, else the label on the bottle might become a reality.
Initially created as a special vintage for a party in October of 1992, this beer became one of the key products of the Steam Brewery thanks to its immense popularity during the festive activity. It has a very strong taste that is deliciously spiced with a discreet touch of caramel.
Potiblonde is a blonde strong ale, brewed with organic pumpkins that are added early in the brewing process during mashing. It is slightly spiced with fresh orange peel and only discreetly hopped with Golding and Hallert.
